The bingo game was disorganised, and the prizes cheap compared to other similar bingo events the drinks water down I suspect, but the music and atmosphere was good

Review of THROWING IT BACK BRUNCH 90's/00's - Birmingham

I went with 8 friends for a 31st birthday, we had a great time. I especially liked that drinks were served in big cups so you didn't have to return to the bar as often. The food choices were decent as well, at this time it was Caribbean food.
The 'hypeman' was keeping the energy up through the whole 5 hours, and the DJ was playing great songs.
Only downfall was that the venue was busy and the heaters were on.. it was unbelievably hot in there! Not necessary when people are dancing and drinking.

Would go again :)

Band were awesome but the venue was awful. The singer had a great voice and played all the crowd pleasers, even included one of her own songs. Prices were very high and the staff were poorly trained. They had next to no knowledge of the drinks sold and got quite a few orders wrong. They were also inconsistent with their serving pattern causing delays. Queue for the bar was a minimum of 20mins, one of our party was queuing for 50 mins. Atmosphere was good though and didn't take long for people to be up dancing. Looking forward to next years gig already

Very disappointed with the venue, staff very disorganised and were still cleaning beer pipes as we entered, and very long waits to be served. very long waits to get in as we all had QR codes but staff were still doing paper and pen check off.

The band were fantastic! Really enjoyed listening to all the songs they played. However, the bar staff were very slow at serving. We waited for about 12 minutes to be served when we first arrived at the venue. It was busy but not busy enough to warrant waiting that long. I also didn’t like the system of paying before your drinks are poured. You should have the drinks served, then pay.
Would definitely book to see this band again but at a different venue.
