The Early Bird Jazz Cafe presents... the James Romaine quartet

We're back for the second instalment of the Early Bird Jazz Cafe! Thanks so much to all those who made our first event a success. We're excited to share another night of music, food, and drink at The Early Bird Bakery. The James Romaine quartet will be joining us again to provide the music from 7:30pm.

James Romaine is an East-London-born saxophonist, composer, and bandleader based in Birmingham. He graduated from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in 2019 and since then, has performed extensively in numerous ensembles across the UK and Europe. Notable performances include Ronnie Scott’s, Derry Jazz Festival, Birmingham Symphony Hall, and a 2021-22 UK tour, celebrating the life and music of Amy Winehouse, with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra. James is one of the recipients of this year’s Jazz Midlands mentorship awards, working alongside acclaimed jazz flautist, Gareth Lockrane.
