Review of Gypsy Jack / BlackFeather / Paradise Sins / Blue Theory
Great value gig poor decision to have the bar closed so kept losing atmosphere with people having to leave and queue for ages upstairs really enjoyed blue theory and black feather

Review of Pete Wylie and The Mighty WAH!
All round good guy who personifies Liverpool. Music, community, politics, justice is central to his life. Pete's music, performance and banter with the crowd was tops. He has a great rapport with his band members and his songs stand up well. Why wouldn't they after 13 years of Tory mismanagement and injustice? Great songs always stand up. A fabulous gig and an all round top man.

Review of Pete Wylie and The Mighty WAH!
Absolute Liverpool legend didn't disappoint. He should be a superstar, not playing to 200 in a small venue (sorry Flapper, you were great!). Not sure why some of the audience were there though when they got upset by his left wing sentiments. Other than that it was a top gig!

Review of Pete Wylie and The Mighty WAH!
This being my first visit to the Flapper since .....well let's say it was a good while ago...I was pleased to see a tidy pub, but having no idea where the gig was held asked the friendly bar staff who directed me admirably. The venue was a small low ceilinged room and soon became very busy. When Mr.Wylie appeared he was amusing, entertaining and his usual bombastic self when outlining the background to the songs, or holding forth on the current (and past,) political situation. The PA had a few moments but overall a fabulous way to spend a Friday evening with a legendary musical figure, vastly underrated, but with passion and heart in both his music and life.
