My first visit to the Sunflower Lounge for a gig and I wasn't disappointed. It's a small venue, which would probably be very cramped with more than 60 people but it was just right for the number of people there on Friday. And unlike some other small venues it was well equipped and professionally set up in terms of lighting and sound. 4 bands for 6 quid was an absolute bargain and whilst they could all play my personal favourite The Slow Readers Club were the stand out act for me.
