Formed eight years ago, The Jins have steadily built a reputation for their electrifying live shows and innovative sound. Their 2023 LP It's a Life, also produced by Dave Genn and mixed by Adam Kasper, showcases their versatility, detouring through cello-emboldened Americana on "Clementine," gloom-laden proto-psych on "Jin Sabbath," and contemplative alt-ballads like "Crossroads."
In October 2023, they opened for Fefe Dobson on her Canadian tour, further cementing their reputation for electrifying performances. Their single “Metro” peaked at #2 on the Breaking Alt chart, and they've received praise from outlets like Indie88, Exclaim!'s 'Eh! List', and Citrus Magazine. With airplay on KEXP, CBC Radio 3, and Sirius XM’s The Verge, The Jins are rapidly gaining momentum.
