Uncover Music Presents
Bryde
A true polymath, working as a songwriter, vocalist and photographer, Sarah has been making music for 20 years, originally with folk duo Paper Aeroplanes and more recently in solo project Bryde.
The music of Bryde undulates from the complex to the beautifully simple. Melodies that are often described as anthemic, whether defiant, melancholic or gently hopeful. In the studio Sarah has worked with giants such as Jolyon Thomas (U2, Royal Blood, Daughter) and Catherine Marks ( Boy Genius, Manchester Orchestra, Ed O’Brien) but now found her music home in the world of co-producing alongside drummer producer Jim Wallis and multi-instrumentalist and composer Jay Chakravorty. Having graced stages such as Green Man, Latitude, Y Not and Deershed, supported Ex:Re, Rufus Wainright and Feeder and undertaken extensive tours around Europe, Bryde is a powerful live act to witness. New music coming in 2023 will ask more of the big questions about what we are doing on earth, to the earth and for ourselves and each other.
