Lovely setting in the park in Accrington, good bands and music across two stages all day. Crowd was chill and pleasant, security pleasant and low key and food, drink and amenities good value. Great mini festival!

Lovely family festival

Had a great day with family and friends at Oakfest. The music was top class entertainment which catered for most musical tastes/genres. Food and drink prices a little high, but we were able to bring our own food and non alcoholic drinks to the venue.

Festival was great, as a Kate Nash fan, in honestly it was the only reason I was going but it turned out to be a great day. The banked hill leading down to the stage was super for viewing, sound was very good and not overly loud like most gigs these days.
There is room for improvement on the food and drink choices. There was loads of space for more vendors and pretty long queues at times for the bar. All the prices were reasonable for a festival, but the bar didn't seem very well ran at all. Lots of options had run out early on and there wasn't much choice to begin with. Getting one or two local breweries in to have a stall would be a great idea, and a couple of other food vendor options too. Overall a great day and I would attended again providing the headliner was good.

It was a great show and we had fantastic time!
just a couple of niggles (from a grumpy old man) -
1. the fence/barrier was a little further away from the main stage than i think it needed top be.
2. one of the bars ran out of beer on draft and cans.
3. the other bars had very big queues.
but like i said these were just minor niggles and we had a very good time... and are looking forward to next year's event.
And Kate Nash was absolutely amazing!! Especially how gracious she was with her time at the end of her set, giving a lot of fans something to remember her by ('selfies' etc. ).

Brought my 18month old daughter to this and we both absolutely loved it! Fab atmosphere and the music was great

I really enjoyed the day, the bands were excellent. We appreciate that it was a 'day out' but it was hard to justify why drinks and food were so expensive.
