It's a fantastic day out for all the family - the drinks prices are very reasonable, the music is banging and there's loads of characters wanderround for the kids to meet. Security is great , helps the kids stay safe. Itsa brilliant local day out.

Great day at the cricket club again. Music & atmosphere was ace. One thing which was annoying, there was a no liquids rule and all the food vendors were unable to sell soft drinks which meant you had to get in the large Q for the bar to get the kids a fruit shoot!

Bank Holiday Music Spectacular at Blackpool Cricket Club Over 20,000 concert goers will be heading to Blackpool Cricket Club’s Stanley Park ground on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th August. Billed as Sound on the Ground, the 2-day music extravaganza opens with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra in a 'Last Night of the Proms' style concert performing iconic soundtracks and memorable Music from the Movies. Collabro and Bond (Quartet) are also appearing on the night. In a first for Blackpool, the world-famous orchestra will wow the concert audience within the fantastic rose bowl ground of Blackpool Cricket Club. Following the sophistication of Saturday’s concert, the iconic sound of the 80’s and 90’s Manchester music scene is replicated by Hacienda Classical featuring Robin Maynard (Robin S), Crystal Waters, Black Box and Inner City together with world renown DJ’s Graeme Park and Mike Pickering adding to an authentic mix of great hits of those Madchester days.
