Review of Blackpool Cricket Club Festival 2024
Great music and venue. Pity some middle age none handlers, trying to regain their youth spoilt the oasis gig. But it's the same type of people you get everywhere. Griw up!! Apart from that, a we'll irganised event

Review of Blackpool Cricket Club Festival 2024
Fantastic day out. Only issue was as it was a family day out there was bad language by certain acts. This was unacceptable and should have been taken into account before booking them knowing it may have been used in front of children. Otherwise thank you for a great day.

Review of Blackpool Cricket Club Festival 2024
Great event, just a few things I would change. Move the beer token tent before the beer tent to avoid any confusion and it would have been nicer if the food stalls had not been in front of the seating area.

Review of Blackpool Cricket Club Festival 2024
Bez was absolutely awful. The amount of sweat words that came out of his mouth at 17.30 with so many family's and children present was disgusting if I'm perfectly honest. The f word was bad enough but using the C*** word multiple times is not good. He corrected himself and apologised and then proceeded to go all over again with a tirade of expletives. It was cringey even for me and I don't have children but my 2 young nephews and children of the large group I was with were very aware of it. Young children love repeating things and I just think that for a family festival it was utterly inappropriate! Bez should only be doing sets after a certain time in the later evening if he can't keep his language clean. All he did was MC anyway. He was having a good time up there and said this repeatedly but none of our group and others that went agreed said they didn't want their children hearing this type of language. I left soon after this with the youngest nephew. Apart from that the music and sound quality was better than last year. One bar (the far one on the back wall of the cricket club was fab) but the 2 security men on the first bar by the entrance were unhelpful and demanded that I que for water for my 2 nephews. The que was really long she the water canister was at the end of the bar and the other bar would let us go up the back of the que to nip for water. It did not impact the que and people did it respectfully when others coming out the que had a lot of drinks to carry. So I thank the security men and staff on the furthest bar. Excellent service and great with the kids queuing. The toilets were readily available and I didn't have to wait long (there were more this year ) it seemed. The other vendors wer great and a good choice. On the whole another great event but Bez let it down on his section for me if I'm perfectly honest. Oh the characters dressed up and the storm trooper dance group were great. Really enjoyed them with my eldest nephew and he loved the characters (Dino, big furry creatures, sun flowers on stilits dancers, transformers were fab and their staff were exceptional keeping them safe and taking photos for us).
