Review of Soul Love On The Pier
Danced virtually non stop from arrival at 1.30 until leaving at 11.30. We purchased vip tickets which provided us with our own bar area, poseur tables and ample space to dance. The music was superb ( funk/soul/disco/house mainly) so all hail the DJs! Jocelyn Brown’s gospel voice raised the roof off the Bloom bar and Sybil got everyone singing along to a ‘90’s medley. The atmosphere was hypnotic as everyone was there to dance all night, smiles were infectious and dance united a very mixed age crowd. The bar staff worked their socks off and even under pressure remained courteous and professional. Only downsides were the drinks prices-a little steep but they were premium quality. The toilet facilities were appalling but that was due to the lack of hygiene of the public!! However, for the size of the crowd there weren’t enough cubicles in the ladies, and I think they need to put in an attendant to maintain cleanliness for those of us who still have some good habits and decorum. That aside, we cannot wait for the next Soul on the Pier!!!!

Review of Soul Love On The Pier
We had to be in venue by 5.30 or we was refused entry. We spent over an hour waiting for food and hadnâ??t even got half way down the queue. Was told if we left we couldnâ??t get back in so left and grabbed food.
Wasnâ??t worth the £100 for VIP tickets so definitely wonâ??t be going again to north pier.

Review of Soul Love On The Pier
Facilities at the venue were poor. Had to queue 40 minutes for double priced drinks. Ladies toilets were a nightmare, queues again. Music was great but sound quality poor. Also paid full price for tickets only for them to go on sale half price a few days later! Disappointed

Review of Soul Love On The Pier
Great music and atmosphere! Big queues at the bar so maybe more staff were needed, and only one food outlet available which we had to queue for an hour and a half. More food outlets needed for an event which runs for 11 hours. But a great day ?
