Cheers for the kind words whoever left the review, but I have to disagree about the venue, I loved it! It was ace playing in such a crammed little enviroment, if it had been a bit busier and more packed it would have been even more mental! Proper loved it! And I think Nokturnals clothing is pretty rad hahaha

Differing Opinionzzz

I arrived at the venue expecting the traditional band-fest setup; a large room granting enough space for the band to be able to move freely, and a vast area for the metalhead spectators to do what they do best (i.e. charge into and beat the living hell of each other). Unfortunately this expectation was short lived. The venue was a small cramped room with the band thrust into a far corner with barely enough space left for a decent sized crowd. I suppose in that respect that it was a good thing barely anyone showed up. As an extra disappointment, merchandise was readily available in the rear for extortionate prices. £15 for god awful quality T-Shirts, and £20 for an acceptable yet still inadequate hoodie. 

The music sort of made up for the poor quality of the venue. The majority of the bands were definately talented musicians, however barely worth the £5 entry fee (Disregard the preceeding statement for my personal favourite groups of the day, Killer, Red XIII and Forever Autumn).

Later on in the day the crowd picked up a little and I suppose overall the event was fairly decent. I just hope the next time will be in a much more appropriate venue, and the crowd more than just boring onlookers. We need more headbanging for crying out loud.
