Review of Revival Music Festival Weekender 2023
Great atmosphere, great bands, we had a fantastic time at our first Revival.
Venue was OK but I didn't like the sticky floor, it was difficult to dance on, hand driers in the toilets didn't work. Venue was not close to other hotels and hotel had bad reputation so we didn't want to stay there.
Hotdog van outside promised much but was disappointing - a hotdog from a jar or tin is NOT a German bratwurst!
We liked having chairs and tables for the VIP ticket but felt it took away from the atmosphere that the non-VIPs could not get close to the stage. I think it would be better if the VIPs didn't have exclusive access to the front of the stage - it would be a much better atmosphere.
Overall though we loved it!

Once you get past the poor state of the hotel rooms and the fact that it needs some money spending to bring it into the current century the festival itself is great. Indoor music festival with your accommodation upstairs so not far to get home. And the breakfast is great. For the money you won’t beat this festival. If you went and saw the bands individually you’d pay more than what you pay for the full weekend with accommodation and breakfast at revival. Been coming since it started and although we do lots of other festivals in our Motorhome it’s as cheap to attend revival and have accommodation thrown in. Get yourself a ticket and come for a great couple of nights out.

Went for the weekend for the first time ,thought It was excellent, loved it
My only thing was I wasn't totally aware of pricing so the VIP tickets I probably would have have bought if it know how it work ,more information is needed, maybe highlighted better

Review of Revival Music Festival Weekender 2023
Came on Friday and enjoyed the whole show, particularly Kings Of Leon. The sound guy did a great job and the light show was excellent. Only quibble is that they could have done with a few more decent ales on tap rather than the usual tasteless overpriced 'large chain" beers and lagers that were available.

Venue is a dump!! Filthy, dated furniture, uncomfortable bed and there was a sock covering the smoke alarm that had been there for months/years. It was also filthy therefore the hotel had never performed daily checks nor had it performed a fire risk assessment. To make things worse the room was an accessible one for disabled guests!!
