Review of Blackpool Illuminations Switch-On 2019
I live in Blackpool and have enjoyed going to the Illuminations Switch On for a few years now, however, I will not be attending anymore switch on events. For the last 2 years I have had to leave the arena before the actual switch on because of unruly behaviour from groups of unaccompanied teenagers throwing lit cigarette ends over the heads of other members of the audience, drinking alcohol that they must have smuggled in, fighting between groups, extreme foul language ( in front of my 8 year old Niece ), climbing on each others shoulders having battles, pushing and shoving each other into other audience members and this year I witnessed one teenage girl tipping coca cola into the hood of a young boy stood in front of her which the rest of the group found highly amusing, the boy wasn't even a part of her group. They also become verbally abusive if you say anything to them. It is a shame that these unaccompanied teenagers are allowed to spoil the occasion for other people and I am not alone with my opinion and experiences.

Review of Blackpool Illuminations Switch-On 2019
As I'd never seen the official switch on before (having been to see the lights afterwards), it was a surreal experience and what better way to culminate with the after-show party in the tower ballroom!
