Review of Louder Than War Presents RATS | The Novus | Reardon Love
A top night of entertainment at this fantastic venue, and a genuine bargain to boot! Three new (to me) diverse acts on the bill, each with plenty of energy and something unique to offer. Yet another wonderfully random Sunday at the Waterloo! A well-stocked Lemmy's Bar and the customary efficient bar staff sealed the deal :-)

Review of Hands Off Gretel and Special Guests
on Halloween night in Blackpool, well The Healthy Junkies got the evening off to a fine start , next to enthrall the crowd was ALL SIRENS FALL , who surprised me with their set, which was good old rock 'n roll.
unfortunately Scarlet could not make the gig due to a breakdown on the road to venue.
so onwards & to Hands Off Gretel set, and in true spooky style part way through bands set a power malfunction cut off tne venues main lights, though HOG were still able to play onstage with some back up lighting, but the stage still looked spooky . (was this a deliberate Hallowen tactic by band /venue ?)
After a few songs, full lighting was restored, however more spooky shenanigans beset the bands set as lead singer Lauren stated her voice almost gone & unable to carry on and she lest stage to a heartfelt applause from crowd. She did manage to return , but last song of night was sung by Sean.

Review of Hands Off Gretel and Special Guests
A brilliant small venue, plenty of atmosphere and superb bands. Healthy Junkies kicked things off, followed by As Sirens Fall and finally Hands Off Gretel. All three bands were excellent.

Review of Hands Off Gretel and Special Guests
Passionate, professional and unpredictable. A thrilling combination that won over and entertained the crowd. Missing support bands? Power cuts? Sore throats? Less skilled performers would have fallen apart, but Hands Off Gretel rose to the occasion. Impressive and exciting.
