The host was poor- unfunny, not entertaining, cold personality, mumbled into mic, then screeched. Burlesque acts good, but not on enough. Too much waffling inbetween! Advertised as circus acts, magicians, garden light passage. None were there!!!

The food choice was poor and tasted bland. I was really disappointed. I would be embarrassed to bring a business contact/client to an event like yesterday. Also, there were no soft drinks on arrival.

We were encouraged to pre-order our drinks to save time on the night, so we did, ordering several bottles of wine and beer. These were not on the table when we arrived and a lot of time was spent trying to find someone to find our order and bring the drinks to the table. The food also took absolutely ages to serve. I understand that there were a lot of people there however it should be better coordinated so people are not waiting 3 hours to have 3 courses.

It was a good night. The venue was great and well decorated, the food was nice, the cheese and grapes and petit fours on the tables were a lovely touch and the live saxophonist was good too. The music over the speakers overall, for me, wasn't brilliant, it was all just thudding bass and that kind of thing, nothing recognisable that was easy to dance to or anything. But that could just be my personal taste and everyone else might have loved it.
