Review of Bury Agricultural Show
I had never been to an agricultural show before but (based on the ticket price) I expected there to be lots of stalls selling farm produce like fresh vegetables, home made cakes, jams, chutneys etc., as well as other country related things. I brought a lot of money in preparation but left with nothing, as there were just a few standard burger vans selling very expensive mediocre junk food and fried donuts. I felt like this show would have been a good opportunity to showcase healthy local produce. It was nice to see the animals and displays but there was not much to do for more than an hour because there was hardly any seating and I wrongly thought there would be a bar area of some kind where we could relax. I admit I might have got the wrong idea but it was not what I expected at all.

Enjoyed the animal shows but the motorcycle show could have been more engaging if they had been given more room.
There did not seem to be as much as previous years but the grandchildren still enjoyed it.

Review of Bury Agricultural Show
The sound from the commentary box was difficult to hear much of the time, but especially so during the Stunt Mania demonstration.
Before the show I had difficulty with the web site and had 2 lots of schedules for arts and craft classes. Also the entry forms for the classes came up on top of the schedule and couldn't be printed.
Otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable day - thanks to all.

Review of Bury Agricultural Show
Venue was perfect, One way in to grassed field car park area, but obtuse parking attendant man with grey beard when asked about exit said it was tough if couldn't get out... not a good start, on exiting was acting like a madman telling us to slow up when we weren't driving fast at all, gated entrance was ok as it was quiet and we had prepaid tickets on the phone, signposts to entrance weren't very good as they led into a courtyard and after walking round for two hours we had to guess and followed other people to the entrance , exit signposts were non existent which caused us a problem , toilets although plentiful could have been signposted to.
When we approached the entrance to get out the same way we had come in a the young lad at the entrance stopped us and said we would have to trudge another way to get out despite the wife having a swollen foot, us not knowing the way and having to walk around half the site again to get out.
The show was pretty good itself with Military cars, American classics, shire horse show which was particularly good so well done to all who showed there , sheep and bull showing which was interesting , and various other animals, the stalls were good and the central field used for entertaining good , enjoyed the show itself the staff working the show were the problem.
