In Cranborne village, tucked behind the school, is one the Dorset’s best kept secrets. Here there is a door in the side of a hill; open the door and you’ll find yourself in a magical fire-lit space. This is the 200-seater Earthouse; England’s only purpose-built storytelling theatre. Here audiences sit on wooden benches, under an earth roof, held up by 21 huge oak tree trunks.
