Review of Jurassic Dance Festival 2024
Overall a great venue, loads of space to camp with good showers and toilets.
The bar and stages are well done and set out with friendly, helpful bar staff.
There were a couple of food stalls available and any food we did have was really nice.
Considering this was a "family friendly" festival there was minimal things for children to do.
They had a tiny bouncy castle which was rarely inflated, 1 stall selling crochet toys/clothing and they had a guy on sunday with exotic animals for a few hours but other than that we didnt find much for them and they had to just make their own fun.
Security also wouldn't even let them in to the festival without an adult (even the 14 year olds) which seemed silly when they were only trying to get something to eat or when they wanted to relax back at camp as this then meant they couldn't get to us inside the festival unless we came back out to meet them to get them in again?
I will say that security were also rather rude at times and OTT with searching bags, pockets constantly which for a small festival was a bit excessive.
Overall we had a great time, but Im not 100% sure we would come back (at least with the children.)

A great festival in its infancy, top venue tucked away on a farm in the Isle of Purbeck a must on your festival list for next season, top name line up topped off with Judge Jules a bouncing weekend, priced to attract full weekend ticket which included camping and all the facilities 5 star for me...

Great Event, music, staff and food trucks. Only observation was security felt a little bit too over the top racing around in the four wheel drive. Saying that the security I spoke to were all very genuine and nice. I guess it's difficult to strike a balance between keeping everyone safe and remaining a little more invisible.

Had an amazing weekend, such a great event! Just a couple of niggles, the grass could have been cut before as it was extremely long meaning wet feet first thing and there were lots of ants nests that were hard to spot in the long grass, we lived our tent numerous times after realising we were camped on top of one!! Also if you dropped anything it was so long you'd have trouble finding it again. Water stations - definitely need more in the arena areas as I only found one as the other had a hose attached so couldn't use!
