This year’s Baby Week Bradford is all about PLAY - Playful starts…. Happy Hearts

A week of free events, activities and resources for babies, toddlers, families and the early years workforce. Events include:  Family play days, woodland walks, story times and the Baby Week Wiggle. Venues for events and activities are across the whole Bradford district - local community venues, Family Hubs, Bradford libraries and museums.

We officially invite you to make room for play in your calendar from 14-20 November for Baby Week Bradford 2024. There’ll be lots of opportunities, events and activities to play indoors and outdoors, right across the Bradford district – see the website for the full calendar of free events. Play is a magical and mighty thing… 

When babies and young children play, they’re learning so much about themselves, others, and the world around them. Their brain is firing in all directions, building:

• Communication, relationships and connection

• Confidence and independence

• Movement and motor skills

• Creativity and imagination

Not only that, it gets them active and it’s lots and LOTS of fun!

Baby Week Bradford is a celebration of babies, and a chance to put them – and all the people who care for them – in the spotlight. Through events, activities and resources, Baby Week Bradford highlights what’s on offer in across the district for expectant families and families with babies and toddlers, develops best practice, gives families the opportunity to celebrate babies at some seriously fun-packed events, and raises awareness about early childhood development and the importance of the first 1001 days.
