Review of Steve Jinski
Steve Jinski was superb last night at Black Dyke Mills Heritage centre in Bradford. A singer songwriter and multi instrumentalist solo artist he had the audience captivated from the opening acapella number sung with his rich powerful voice.
Two 45 minute sets were filled with his own original songs which he played on either acoustic, electric guitar or keyboard (with a smattering of harmonica) apart from two superb cover versions of Joni Mitchell’s Big Yellow Taxi, and Neil Youngs Hearts of Gold.
How to describe Steve’s style — indie folk/Americana. Just great songs with memorable lyrics that pull on the heart strings of life.
No wonder Bob Harris BBC Radio 2 was quoted as saying “this is great stuff you, can hear all the love that’s gone into it”
Do yourself a favour have a look at his website stevejinski.com and check out his music and tour dates. Oh and he’s a really great bloke with very interesting anecdotes to tell between songs!

Review of Pete Morton
This is a slightly unusual but very pleasant venue, run by very friendly and welcoming volunteers. Excellent food is on offer, tea, coffee and a bar available.
Pete Morton was as usual excellent in every department. A well balanced set of mainly his own songs, a few new ones and many old favourites. His delivery is outstanding, his set liberally laced with his brand of humour where it suits, serious and emotionally arresting at other times. A top-quality evening.

Review of Roisin Ban, Ray Hearne and Matt Weigold
Fabulous quirky venue everyone makes you feel welcome and cosy settees to sit on, a reasonably price bar and coffee and cake available what more can one ask for on a Sunday tea time. Entertainment was brilliant- Roisin Ban made you want to go on a Irish road trip and Matt needs to publish a book !
