Review of Johnny Boy
What a fantastic night. Venue is clean well set out with plenty of room for me to manoeuvre (wheelchair) the music played before Johnny Boy came on was geared towards the audience and kept the dance floor full. Then Johnny Boy came on and WOW what an amazing voice, his stage presence was brilliant and had the crowd fully engaged and the dance floor full, hope he's back in Bradford soon.

Review of Total Rex
The lead singer was good, good voice, dressed for the role of Marc Bolan, and sang in tune. However, after no applause on 3rd song, he had to ask for some. Then commented about seeing "old faces" and telling the audience " we're all old now". Speak for yourself, I thought. Found his comment quite insulting. Looking around the room, many people just having their own conversations as the band as a whole had no presence. Lead and bass guitarists made no effort to dress up in appropriate fashion of the time , and had their heads down most of the time, not acknowledging the audience. As such, the room was lacking in atmosphere. people near the front seemed to be having a good time, but also seemed to know the band. strangely the room came alive with people singing and dancing when the band left the stage after the first set, and the DJ/ house sound/ PA music began playing sounds of the seventies. Venue a good size and would definitely visit again, but not to see this band. Sorry.
