Review of AC/DC UK Tribute
Great night out with friends. The event was reasonably priced, the venue's bar had a decent range of drinks at regular pub prices and the band were great. They had a few issues with sound as a few others have noted but once they were sorted, the band really let rip. My ears were still ringing 24 hours later! More like this please Luna Lounge and how about promoting some new local bands?

Review of AC/DC UK Tribute
It was my first time visiting this venue. I didn't arrive until ACDC UK were about half an hour into their gig but I managed to make my way to the front of the stage. The sound was fine for me but part way through the band went off stage for about 15 minutes, due to sound problems with the lead singer. The band members were talented musically and highly entertaining. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and the atmosphere was friendly. I had a most enjoyable evening and thought it was good value for money. After the show I learnt from a friend who works as a sound engineer for TV that those operating the sound system at the venue took a long time to get the balance right, so that the lead vocalist could be heard by everyone in the room. Due to this, some audience members had left before the end of the gig, which was a great shame. What I don't understand is why a sound check wasn't done, before the performance ? Or was it only done for the first band ( which I missed ) ? Sound balance is different for every band or performer/ performers, depending on numbers, instruments, what kind of microphones are used, speakers and any other electronic equipment utilised. I hope someone apologised to ACDC UK, for this almighty blunder, as much as the band apologised to the audience for something which wasn't their fault. They gave a tremendous performance rocking their socks off. A big thankyou to the band and to Luna Live Lounge for booking them ( Bridgend needs more events like this ). I just hope they sort their sound system out for any future events.

Not a good experience at all , there was a problem with the singers microphone and nothing was being done to sort it out, we all left early! Shame really seen band before and they were really good ☹️

Luckily the warm up act was excellent. We have seen this band at a different venue a few years ago and they were great. Their set was in place when we arrived so you would assume that all relevant sound checks had been done. When they eventually took the stage, you could not hear the vocals at all. This continued for at least 6 or 7 songs by which time we had (not) heard enough and left. Why did the band/venue not ensure that the sound was not sorted before the show started. It’s a nice venue but the experience was rubbish.

A good band playing great music, unfortunately the sound syatem was playing up and did not give them justice in their playing. People were complaining at the start and even the group were upset but eventually things got more or less sorted but did not stop everyone having a good nite out.
