FREE ENTRY Tongue & Groove Open Mic is back every third Thursday in the month. Enjoy an evening of awesome live music and spoken word from both established and up and coming talents. Local singer songwriter Charlotte Howard will be your happy host presenting featured artists from across the south east as well as sign up open mic performances at Brighton’s newest live music venue - Manchester Street Arts Club (formally latest music bar).
Featured acts so far include…
Sun Hot Band - A trio of brothers playing sunny indie originals
Solebound - Folk singer songwriters with a strong connection to the natural world, female fronted harmony sprinkled acoustic band.
Oscar Magpye -Upbeat singer songwriter is back with a rich sound, using effects, stomp box, looped drums and finger picking.
Plus - Open mic slots available, leave a comment on the facebook event, DM admin Charlotte or turn up early to sign up, everyone and anything is welcome.
Come enjoy and or participate in a new night that is growing into something very special indeed.
House piano, acoustic guitar and cahon available with a top sound person and PA. Sorry no full size drum kits however hand percussion, congas, cahon etc welcome.
