Brighton Sundae w/ Tina Edwards (Worldwide FM)

Brighton Sundae brings its daytime dance party to Patterns for the very first time, with Worldwide FM’s Tina Edwards as special guest.

Tina has been at the forefront of the UK jazz dance explosion over the last decade as a DJ, music journalist, and presenter. With contagious energy and a deep musical knowledge, Tina’s sets are never predictable. Expect everything from West African groove and Latin-house to Italo jazz and Brazilian bangers. Tina has played to rave reviews all over the world, with the likes of Gilles Peterson and Colleen Murphy, and her festival sets at the likes of Love Supreme, Lost Village, We Out Here and Wilderness have earned her a reputation as a “DJ’s DJ”.

Tina has been one of the longest-serving residents on Worldwide FM, as well as presenting her Next Big Thing show on British Airways and a monthly residency on Soho Radio. In 2022 she presented the BBC One/BBC Four documentary “Jazz UK: Spitting Fire”, which introduced the likes of Ezra Collective and Nubya Garcia to a whole new audience.

Tina will be joined by Brighton Sundae residents and 1BTN DJ’s, D-Novo and Mr Dan, spinning everything from Deep Funk, Afrobeat, Disco, Roots, Electronica, House, Soul and everything in between.
