First off, I want to be clear about the music. That was fantastic and couldn't be faulted. 

Also, the Proud Brighton Ballroom is a lovely venue but just didn't work for this event.

I'd booked 3 tickets and the three of us got to the venue for the recommended time in the email..11pm.

It took ages to get in and the staff on the door seemed a bit agitated.

The cloakroom was overfilled and could take no more coats etc. meaning we had to carry them around, which made it difficult to relax.

The bar was understaffed and the atmosphere was edgy..I was hoping for something akin to the atmosphere at a rave where everyone's there to just throw off their shackles and leave their egos at the door.

For something with limited tickets and pre-booked in advance, this should have been organised a lot better, which is a shame because the music was top-notch..Fur Coat, you are not to blame.

The three of us only stayed for what was no more than an hour as there were no spots to put our coats etc. out of the way and go dance nor could we find anywhere to hang back without being bumped past (the VIP booths made this especially difficult).

Having paid the guts of 50 quid for the tickets, very disappointing.
