The County Ground, Hove is the home of 2007 County Champions Sussex County Cricket Club. The oldest cricket club in the country - the first County match was played at Eaton Road on 6 June 1872 against Gloucestershire. Sussex County Cricket Club is not only a successful cricket club, it is also fast becoming a popular all-round venue with events from concerts to firework displays.
