Review of Funke & the Two Tone Baby
Such a talented musician and entertainer! This was an absolute treat. We saw Funke at WOMAD and loved him, and the Brunswick is a great venue - intimate, not overcrowded, with room to dance if you want.

Review of Funke & the Two Tone Baby
Funke is an amazing 1 man whirlwind of music and sound. Its not the first time I've seen him, I will go whenever possible... because he is increadably good. Great music and very entertaining. Trying to think of ways to describe what he does... One man digital blues rock punk maverick? But more than.
See this guy when you can. You'll see.

Review of The Undercover Hippy Solo
Really good small show! Really got the impression that he just loves playing for people and tried to play as many songs as he could in the time he had!! Tickets were cheap as well!

Review of AYU + support Huggy and the Bears
The Brunswick is a great venue to see live bands and the funk night didn’t disappoint. Both bands played blinding sets mixing up funk, soul and jazz. Highly recommend going to see headliners AYU and Huggy and the Bears when they’re next in town.

Review of Act of Love + support
Great gig, 3 excellent acts.
Act of Love were absolutely superb. Unusual sound & lineup, including guitars, electronics & cello but the highlights were the vocals (both lead & harmony) & the songs - very memorable. I went out the next day & bought their album.
Would certainly go again

Review of Hymn for Her / The Mountain Firework Company
Two top acts if you're into Americana /Bluegrass /Roots music. Mountain Fireworks are so warm and engaging. Smooth, hum-along tunes and songs that give you a happy feeling all over. Hymn For Her are more edgy, producing a surprisingly full sound for a duo with lots of variety. Really liked them too. Go see 'em both.

Review of Al Start & The Beastie Band + Zoe Lewis
Wonderful music with a really great atmosphere, but a bit overcrowded, not enough seats and the room got pretty hot with that many people and not much ventilation.
