The Concorde 2 in Brighton wouldn't allow re-entry and there was no food being sold inside so I'm not sure why they couldn't just stamp our hands.
Craig was good but he wasn't on for long

The sound quality at the venue was poor. It was loud enough but too bassy and just not clear enough. I don't know if it was the sound engineer or just not great quality. If Craig Charles spoke on the mic, those of us at the mid to back of the rom were clueless as to what he was saying.
Secondly, the venue had a no re-entry policy - so for a daytime event 3pm to 9pm with no food available was just not do-able...at an event that starts early like this, people need the option to eat not just drink. Either food should have been available or we should have been allowed out to eat and then back in again. What this meant in practice is that we did not go in the venue until about 7pm...instead we drank and ate over the road. The Concorde missed out on a lot of bar money with this no re-entry policy, plus we missed out on the daytime music.
Finally, Craig Charles played a really mainstream set with minimum funk and soul. . Ok, so this is just my taste, but it was pretty average.
Fun vibe though and a great crowd.

All music before Craig's Charles was great. His set was boring and had no nuances or excitement. People around me thought the same and people started leaving early!

Great music but was sold as Summer Terrace event and was actually just inside with a big smoking area outside where you couldn't hear the main music
Toilets were disgusting from the very start

Wow! What a night! from the first tune to the last I didn't stop dancing. Berlin are the best nights in Brighton. Great Djs, great crowd and always a brilliant atmosphere. I can't wait for the next one.
