About

  • Katie Alice’s music speaks to sensitive souls, as she creates “spell-binding” melodies woven with honest storytelling and intricate instrumentation. Drawing from her classical background in flute and vocals, along with a later love for production, she has paved a unique soundscape in the folk-pop scene. Following the release of her debut EP As We Drift, Katie and her 6-piece band have been shaping a captivating live experience, offering a rich and vibrant performance that draws the audience into an immersive atmosphere.
  • For fans of: Billie Marten, Bess Atwell, Portishead, Clairo
  • Support from Frances Mistry.

Brighton-based newcomer frances mistry is a refreshingly original alternative-Indie artist, whose songs’ autobiographical stories are carried along by her haunting melodies and strident guitar riffs that has lauded by the likes of BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders as a “proper, authentic artist.” and long-listed in Glastonbury’s 2022 prestigious Emerging Talent competition. The Loud LDN collective member will be a new name to many, but is making music that’s unforgettably punchy yet delicate at the same time. She cites influences such as beabadoobee, Clairo and Jay Som, but sometimes the songwriter’s melodies nod to the work of The Sundays. Mistry doesn’t doubt that her influences are enormously diverse and include everything from the band America, to The Cure to a raft of more current artists. With a 2nd EP released in May 2024, frances has already opened for the likes of Paris Paloma (and opening for her again in November at CHALK, Brighton) and WILDES. Frances is currently working with whiteboard pr to promote her releases.
