An afternoon club session with the emphasis on joyful tunes, dancing and all the fun of the club but in a daytime, clean and safe environment. We’ll be spinning Jazz, Funk, Soul, Afro, Latin Electronica and more. Join us on the dance-floor!

Brought to you by local DJs D-Novo and Mr Dan, this is Brighton's homage to the legendary Sunday Dingwalls sessions run by Patrick Forge and Gilles Peterson. Expect special guest DJs, classic tunes you know and a few that you don’t. 

SPECIAL GUEST: JO DRESSLER

We are delighted to be welcoming 1BTN's queen of global groove, Jo Dressler to the Sundae family for our next session. If you've heard her monthly shows on 1BTN you'll know that Jo's curiosity to seek out new music is truly infectious. From deep house, to North African strings, to classical Indian Raga, Jo is part of a new generation of music heads here in Brighton that we're delighted to be showcasing.

DANCE WORKSHOP

One of our regulars, Julian Stevens, is going to be running a dance workshop 1.30-2.15pm. We were so inspired by the dancefloor at July’s session and Graham (aka D-Novo) was at We Out Here festival’s Dingwalls tent a couple of weeks back where the dancers really put on a show. When we started Brighton Sundae we knew we wanted it to be all about the dancing, and these recent experiences have only confirmed this for us. So make sure you come early and join in with the workshop, which is designed to warm you up for dancing early on a Sunday afternoon. The workshop is included in your ticket price, so just show up before 1.30 to get involved.

We dance from 1pm til 7pm... but if you keep dancing, we'll keep playing ;)
