Pianist, rapper, singer and producer Mrisi is a multifaceted artist who showcases a variedmusical background and a sensitivity to music which results in tracks with substance.The development of his music unifies his heritage and areas of influence. A South African musician fatherand English poet mother have made musicality and lyricism part of his upbringing and the diversity is evidentin his sound. Sounds from traditional South African riddims to Jazz piano and grass roots Hip Hop which canbe heard alongside gritty British narrative, drill and house. As a live experience, his shows feature drums,saxophone/ brass, bass, guitar, backing vocals and keys fused with the sounds of African instruments. Mrisihas toured across the UK and South Africa, working alongside artists such as Omar, Prince Fatty, Kokoroko,Sadat X, Yazmyn Hendrix, Rag ‘n’ Bone Man and countless other established artists.
