Global Movements with Myriad: All Vinyl Sunday Session

Global Movements is a brand new project bringing worldwide energy to the heart of Brighton. Join us at The Oculist  for a Sunday session.

This is an all vinyl journey across the globe exploring Reggae, Dub, Hip-Hop, Funk, Soul, Disco, House, Garage and more. Variety is the spice of life.

Running from 7pm til late, we’ll mix classics you know with future favourites to fall in love with. Warming up with an array of worldwide rhythms and colourful instrumentation until the sun sets and we begin exploring the move from New York House to UK Garage.

Expect to hear celebrations and explorations into the rhythms, musical output and musical history of countries like Jamaica, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa and Brazil alongside the UK and US. Global music to keep you moving.

As an industry night, this Sunday Session is firmly focused on the dance floor.
