Menagerie Autumn Social

Menagerie Socials are informal events hosted alongside our main play parties, aiming to bring people together in a relaxed setting to connect before our next main event. While there will be no play during the social, you will be meeting wonderful new people so feel free to make your own plans for after the event to continue the fun. Whether it’s your pre’s to a Friday night out or the main event, we look forward to seeing you there!

What to Expect:

We've secured a private space upstairs at The Temple Bar for Menagerie Social guests. Enjoy mingling in a relaxed atmosphere with optional activities to spark connections. It's all about organic conversations, and while this event doesn't commit you to future play parties, it's a fantastic opportunity to build those connections. 

Who Can Buy Tickets?

Anyone looking to meet other people in the ENM and sex+ scene 

Does this mean I'm going to the next Menagerie play party?

Not necessarily. Attending a social does not commit you nor ensure that you are attending future events, as you still must go through a vetting process. 

Dress:

Express yourself and feel comfortable, but keep it pub-appropriate. Explicit kink wear and lingerie might be best left for other occasions, use your best judgement.

The Space: 

The entire first floor of The Temple Bar is exclusively ours for the night (except for shared toilets) where we will have both seated and standing areas. Upon walking into the bar you will be checked for ID by security, then make your way up the stairs on the left hand side. When you get to our private space, we will ask for your name before allowing you into the space. Order drinks at the downstairs public bar and please use discretion in public spaces, as not everyone attending the social may want to be associated with The Menagerie. A shared smoking area is just outside the front doors.

Accessibility:

Note that the space is at the top of a steep staircase (about 20 steps) without elevator access. We will control the music volume to allow for conversation, but if the music gets too loud, please let an organiser know. The smoking area outside the bar is the best space for getting air and taking social breaks. The toilets are shared with the rest of pub guests and are gendered.
