Matthew 'Bushwacka'  has been a pivotal figure in the electronic music scene for over 30 years, evolving from a percussionist in the London School Symphony Orchestra to a renowned DJ and producer. After making a name for himself in London's club circuit in the late '80s, he formed the iconic duo Layo & Bushwacka! with Layo, releasing influential albums like 'Low Life' and 'Night Works,' and securing residencies at top clubs worldwide. Their legendary All Night Long residency at The End in London and subsequent Shake It warehouse parties solidified their status. Bushwacka! also achieved solo success, remixing for Depeche Mode and collaborating with Madonna. Post-2013, he focused on his solo project Just Be, before returning to DJing and releasing acclaimed tracks. During the COVID-19 lockdown, his Vinyl Love Affair live streams garnered over 2 million views. By 2023, he signed with Defected Group and continued to release new music and perform selectively worldwide. With restarting his Ibiza Pikes residency in 2024, Bushwacka! remains a dynamic force, dedicated to sharing his passion for electronic music with fans globally.
