Perched upon the hillside high above Brighton station with what was once described as ‘the best view in Brighton’, The West Hill Tavern has been lovingly restored by Ben and Heather Pistor.

A proper local boozer with a family at the helm, The Westie features traditional pub pantones coupled with walls of curiosities and open fires creating a cosy, comfy home-from-home. A meticulously sourced a blend of old and new furniture compliments the pubs history - creating a beautiful family-friendly neighbourhood pub with ‘the Cheers factor’ - a place where everybody knows your name.

The Westie features a small but perfectly formed menu of no-frills home-cooked pub fayre, pub snacks, vegan & vegetarian treats and of course a Sunday roast - alongside local ales from S.I.B.A (Society of Independent Breweries), carefully selected glug-able wines, craft beers, not so crafty beers, and a bloody good Bloody Mary.

Nostalgic music, quiz nights, live music, a traditional meat raffle, and DJ events form a programme of carefully curated events.
