Just months after his motherland turned itself inside out, toppling a dictatorship of almost 20 years, Dameer has come to the shores of the UK with a point to prove. The first Gen-Z revolution in world history deserves a musical movement apt to represent it.

The former indie-rocker has replaced his ballads for basslines, leading a momentous lineup of UK Bengali mavericks. This includes chart-topping rapper Sliime, iconic British Bengali DJ and rapper Surya Sen, DJ and part of South Asian powerhouse collective Daytimers Nadi, Cologne Germany’s Achef, and for a bit of Bristol love, local collective Exodus Records represented by Khalan.
