Review of Sugababes - live at Bristol Amphitheatre
One of the best events of my life! Sugababes smashed it as usual, they are just so good live. We were nearly not allowed in because we'd booked one of the tickets for my friends 14 year old daughter and we'd missed the info saying it was an over 18s event (not shown anywhere on tickets but was on the skiddle website). We spoke to the events manager, Jim Goddard, and explained how we'd travelled really far (Carmarthen and Brighton) for the event and he took a risk assessment and allowed us to enter. As I said, it was incredible and we are truly grateful to Jim and his team.

They did not come on until 9.15pm (or at least hadn't by the time we left) and by that time our goodwill had run out and we left for home (they were only on until 10.30pm so that involved inordinate standing around without anywhere really to sit at the revnue). They had no support act and everyone at that venue was essentially left for 2 hours standing after being told that doors would close at 7pm. No idea why that was set so early given there is no seating iand there was no support (a DJ playing background music). Last time we do anything at the Harbourside venue or spend any money on Sugababes tickets.

Great event, however, strict entry time meant everyone arrived at the same time and waited nearly 2 hours for sugababes to come on. Would be better to relax the entry time so people turn up when they want and not be left hanging around unnecessarily one in, if they didn't need/want to.

Did that really happen?! What an amazing night. Sugababes were on top form playing all their classics. The Bristol crowd were super pumped. Tyler Lewis and Jaguar were also amazing . The venue is superb although bring your own toilet paper!

Amazing event. The support act had a beautiful voice and the wheelchair platform was situated in a great place. Security staff were friendly and helpful. The Sugababes were fantastic!!!
