Review of BRISTOL TATTOO CONVENTION
Music was shocking, really weird mix of very random songs. Artists were amazing, super happy with work I got done. No vegetarian options for food which was a bit rubbish. Overall happy with the artists and their work but the venue could’ve done better.

Review of BRISTOL TATTOO CONVENTION
Reflexively a decent event - would recommend for atmosphere and getting close to your favourite artists :)
However - one queue for both ticket-holders and pay on the day-ers was redundant and could have sped up entry significantly with separate lines - artist booths were a bit cramped and the sideshows / entertainment was very limited - more choice and variance needed for wider appeal - 2 hrs of sea shanties was pretty grating 😆
The clothing and other stalls pretty varied and interesting, but not much in the way of alternatives for food? £13 for burger and fries was excessive - lucky there are other local amenities that are better value and offer wider choice in this regard! (sushi and beer in the park from Sainsbury’s anyone?!)
The bar was reasonably priced though so if that’s your thing it won’t break the bank.
Wall of death was a cool attraction and being outside was a nu lace distraction.
there were a lot less people at the venue after 3pm so it made it easier to navigate and to chat with people as the noise was a lot less inside.
Can’t fault being in Bristol itself - great venue as so much to do within walking distance. If you get a chance to prebook with an artist for the show, that would be recommended as lots were fully booked by 1pm Saturday…
Would go again - admission price reasonable enough to warrant day trip.

Review of BRISTOL TATTOO CONVENTION
Had a wonderful time, spacing was an issue at times but whether that’s the venue or just the sheer amount of people I don’t know. Most artists I met where wonderful and the Instagram page highlighting artists was a great help. The only thing that did bother me was the artist that did me yesterday was asked to stay and do a bit more, over the course of the weekend I barely saw them take a break. I know it probably wasn’t meant in a certain way but please respect these people and their art. Apart from that, I would recommend highly!
