Review of Lila Ike - Live Acoustic Show
Lila Ike was absolutely brilliant
Natural and warm , excellent performance , with superb guitarist
Unfortunately the evening was let down by the venue
Doors were supposed to open at 7pm . They were doing sound checks in the hall until at least 8.30 and everyone had to wait outside in the rain
Once inside , realised it was a standing only event (, not mentioned on the booking )
Normally Acoustic performances are seated
Performance was supposed to start 8pm, but it was 9.50pm when she came on stage
There was only one makeshift bar which was outside , drinks served using no measures , unprofessional, ridiculous waiting time for overpriced drinks
