About

Scratch Cafe is a monthly public scratch jam and get together for Bristol's DJ and turntablist community. What to expect:
  • All level scratch jam, where you can have a go, whatever your level. We welcome everyone from novices up to world DMC champions to the decks and we foster an inclusive, no-judgement environment, where beginners learn from experts
  • The Scratch Cafe jam band (drums, bass and guitar) will intermittently play instrumentals for the DJs to scratch over
  • Local DJs, former DMC champions and local record label owners give talks, run workshops and do showcases
  • The Collector Cave record shop hosts an open decks in the second room, meaning you can get a break from all those 'FRESH' 'AHHHH's when you need it and see some of Bristol's up and coming talent before anyone else does
  • Jamaican patties, scratch themed cocktails and Haskhells hot sauce all available there
