It was honestly dire and a money funnel.
Music was the same repeated over and over again, barely hip hop, there was 1 food stand when there should have been multiple and there was no bbq. Bouncer was an ass hole for no reason, sarcastic and rude.

Review of Gin & Juice - Old School Hip-Hop Outdoor Summer BBQ

I am absolutely shocked how this event was set up. BBQ EVENT: 1 small grill for all the venue. HIP HOP OLD SCHOOL: they played 15 tunes on repeat mixing it with trap, wired remixes. NO real old school hip hop vibe on. MASSIVE SCHEDULE of things going on: we waited until 8 pm and nothing was happening. SOUND SYSTEM: my PC has better one... What is this about? For REAL hip hop heads this was a nightmare. I also invited friends and I felt ashamed. We were expecting real hip hop scene but was a mainstream events very badly organised. 99% of the ladies were half nacked and it was embarassing. It was a rip off in every aspect and I wish to have the ticket refunded if it was a possibility.

£11.50 for a Malibu and c**e was ridiculous, no confetti cannon, no C02, no dance off

Literally a scam/rip off! The event as been promoted as hip hop BBQ and there were no BBQ going on whatever. Only one burger stand and one Caribbean.... where were the others?? The event was talking about food standS!!! There was an all stand just for vapes and disposable..... what a waste of space! Don't use the word BBQ if you can't afford one! The music then.... same tunes played by 2 different dj.. exactly the same!! A guy on the stage just taking videos and saying nothing... Songs that were absolutely not Hip Hop... Sweet Caroline!!!!! and all this for 30£!! 30£!!!!! Never again

It has been sponsored as a bbq and only one burger place was present.
Music poorly played and same tunes in loop over and over again. Some tunes were deffo not hip hop.
30£ event and nothing was going on really, we waited until 7.30 pm and left cause we will be waiting ages and at that point we were totally bored.
Just a rip off for the event itself.
It has been disappointing for people expecting a real hip hop event.

If you're looking for 80s&90s this is not it. It was mainly 00s. And couldn't find the BBQ.
