Review of Conway the Machine
all artists excellent no complaints there. O2 is not a good venue, expensive drinks, no bottle tops so you can't put a bottle of water in your pocket for later, accessibility area too far from stage for vision impaired, glad security have relaxed a bit lately though. Artists (& me) were disappointed by the flat energy from a lot of the crowd, miserable, boring, stagnant YOUNG boys stood up front looking at their phones, as I was dancing one tried to shove me out the way so he could stand there like a concrete post! He didn't manage it, I'm 50 & was fully hyped all night

Review of The Pharcyde & Lords of the Underground
Nice sized venue although lots of steps but good view of stage from both floors and not much separation from the band which is great.
Unless you get your tickets sorted for scanning before, getting in is a bore - they were v strict on this (we had to queue even though we had bought our tickets in advance) and also do a thorough search on entry.
Sound pretty good and the pharcyde were great - psychedelic and earthy all at once - not your ordinary hip hop gig. Lots of the underground banged it out from the getgo and had some great preambles to intro their songs - go see em both!
