A singer, songwriter, producer and composer - AUGUST has been peppering our playlists with a series of beguiling, brooding, dark soul fusions; sitting between multiple genres from dream pop, trip-hop to Jungle via dubstep, utilising leftfield drum production and vocal harmonics to stunning effect. Her recent releases, including performances at Bristol Beacon, The Mount Without and Shindig Festival have captivated each audience in her path. Prioritising vibe and sentiment over any sense of boundaries or stifling pigeonhole, each cut from AUGUST so far has hit hard with that smouldering deliciously unclassifiable feel that Bristol has been synonymous with since the primordial days - whilst sparking interest from high-level collaborators. After consistent regional and international radio play, over 100k DSP streams, and comparisons to FKA Twigs, Kelela and Keiyaa (with added amen breaks), her profile continues to grow. This show promises to be something special!

Animai (Live)
Animai is a producer singer-songwriter, emerging from the London underground scene, with notable collaborations including Grammy Award winning artist Flowdan, and dubstep pioneer Youngsta, establishing her as a formidable and unique talent. Animai is a trained Jazz musician with a love for sound system culture and film scores, these influences inspire her deep, emotive composition and production style. Her powerful haunting vocals express the emotions of everyday life, her personal journey through mental health and the pressures of city living. Drawing influence from Massive Attack, Burial, Ivy Lab and James Blake, she perfectly combines meaningful lyrics with interesting harmonies and hypnotic beats. Her music has been championed by the likes of Dummy, Wonderland, 1883 and Clash, with plays on BBC 1Xtra, BBC Radio 6, and Capital Xtra - with her new live show including previews from her highly anticipated first album. 

Leena (DJ Set)
Bristol-born and classically trained, Leena is a multi-disciplinary DJ and producer known for their ability to traverse genres with effortless finesse. From pulsing techno to deep ambient vibes, through R&B and garage flavors, Leena’s sets are a masterclass in sonic storytelling. Known for their versatile and thoughtful tune selection, they effortlessly move between atmospheric soundscapes and dancefloor-driven beats, with an exquisite stage presence and a deep connection to Bristol’s cultural diversity.
