Review of Fat Lip Fest!
The venue was easy enough to find (not being from anywhere near Bristol) which was a bonus. The staff outside directed us to the wristband exchange where we were asked for id (a huge compliment for being neatly 40) we headed to the venue and were met by music as it should be played. Admittedly we only stayed on the one venue but it had many good bands in it, there was plenty of seating for anyone who wished to sit down and just appreciate the music.
My only downsides were that the music slightly distorted if you stood right at the front towards the right of the barrier. But further back it sounded fine and the place wasn't really disabled friendly as it was an upstairs venue. Also the last thing, I didn't see any food, this may be a thought for the future, as we didn't want to leave the venue as we didn't want to miss the music.
But overall a very sweaty, loud and most enjoyable day. Also for the time we were in there the crowd was good but not majorly packed out (which I love the space to be able to breathe) There was also plenty of space for merch which was good for my wardrobe if not for my wallet! :)

Review of Fat Lip Fest!
Really good day that was well organised all day. Both venues were easy to get in and out of. Drinks were also reasonably priced.
My only gripe was the amount of cameras that people were using right down the front of the Adnams stage... Could hardly stand still without being pushed away by a kid with a DSLR...
