Review of Fat Lip Bristol - Pizza Party! 25th Feb
The whole pizza aspect was a shambles and none of the staff knew what was going on. They eventually bought a few out coming up to midnight. The music sound was tinny and poor and the songs had the odd classic but wasn't half as good as I'd hoped.

Review of Department S Club Night ✰ Talking Heads Tribute ✰
This was a fantastic night. The band was just brilliant and kept everyone dancing. They looked like they enjoyed it too. We planned to leave after the band but John The Mod's tune kept us there until late.

Review of Trainspotting - The Party!
The lights were too bright but I did get to catch up with my spangled mates from Sidmouth. Urm, the bar was far too spa**ely-staffed for capacity and the music was pretty sub-standard. Also there was a guy with a Big Bang Theory t-shirt on and I felt that this significantly decreased the quality of my experience at this venue.

Review of The Lanes\' New Years Day Party With A-Skillz
Our group had a great night, we played pool when we arrived and then danced the night away. Staff were friendly - we loved the whole set-up and would visit again.

Review of 45 Live Festive Special with Mako & The Hawk
Great music and space. But the bouncers were on a hunt to find people being naughty and it became oppressive. Example finding bouncers waiting outside your toilet cubicle and standing next to your group on guard.

Review of Department S Club Night ✰ THE SMITHS IS DEAD ✰
Great-value club night with two substantial live Smiths tribute sets, indie/retro DJ, black-and-white big-screen projections, and gifts for early bookers. Some attendees seemed rather oblivious to the live show, and more interested in karaoke/bowling/just drinking and socialising, but, while the resultant bustle was mildly irritating for those trying to view the stage, it may constitute part of the overall atmosphere of a multi-section, multi-activity venue. It would be nice to also see The Smiths Is Dead, and/or other tribute acts, perform tracks from Morrissey's solo career.

Review of Department S Club Night ✰ Andy Crofts DJ Set ✰
Brilliant Tunes on the rainiest night ever! Packed out! Top people! Andy was really cool and John The Mod class as always. I would highly recommend Department S and The Lane's is a favourite haunt of mine for live music too.

Review of The Lanes\' BIG Tarantino Night
Dissapointed! No games or prizes as advertised. And not enough music from the films. I had to request to hear the classics which, considering the theme there was a lot of music to choose from. The films playing in the background was the only nod to the theme.

Review of 45 Live Summer Sessions presents Donna Somerset
There were absolutely no people at the night which I appreciate the venue didn't plan for but I thought it was quite cheeky charging my friends full price entry knowing we'd be alone in there. It's a shame because it's a nice venue and I've had good nights there before but I felt a bit ripped off.
