Review of Red Hot Riot + The Mudd Club + The Kite Collectors
Red Hot Riot have recently upped the intensity of their live shows. They really put the effort in to make it the best show possible. The band are tight and they enjoy some friendly banter with the audience. Audience partitipation is all part of the evening. Start to finish they smashed it last night.
The Mudd Club were great, my first time seeing them live. Another band I will happpily see again.
Unfortunately, couldn't make it in time to see the Kite Collectors.
Venue is great and a really good atmosphere.

Review of Badliana + Backsy & KDogg KT + Dolly Doo
Absolutely unbelievable. Best show ever. Badliana was an amazing headline performer, didn’t want it to end. Will definitely come again. The whole line up of artists was great, they are all very talented

Review of Josie Blakelock + Anna Colette + Ellie James
Loved Ellie James - such talent - FANTASTIC!
Loved Josie Blakelock - mesmerising - FANTASTIC!!
Anna Colette - set up was distorted & she mumbled. (Also - Anna’s Mum, & her Mum’s friends talked loudly through first 2 performances & Anna talked through Josie Blakelock. So rude & disrespectful!)

Review of Dafydd Hedd + Morpheus + Chasing Kites
Prices were averagely expensive as most independent venues go nowadays (£4.90 for a pint of Thatchers Gold). The gents' had soap, working taps, and functioning hand dryers, but was a bit dark. Seating was decent and comfy, good table space and a mix of tables, stools and armchairs.
Something that was a bit odd though was the atmosphere. I've been to the Louisiana a few times before and had a great time seeing Rosie Low + Babeheaven play. The atmosphere then was *great*. This time around, not so much. Crowd seemed allergic of standing at the front and this group (later found out they were mates of one of the support acts) talked throughout the entire headline act and made some pretty s**tty remarks about him singing in Welsh. Real awful behaviour tbh that partially but a dampener on the night.
This was unusual though, I've had good nights at the Lousiana before, but still a shame. Might've been because it was a show for up-and-coming acts so most of the audience were mates and uni students rather than your average live music enthusiasts.

Review of Mount Zooka + The Struggle Itself + The Proxy Youth
Mount Zooka were epic at The Louisiana on Thursday! Their music is like your mates all played their favourite songs at once: you can't quite pinpoint the genre but the mix is exactly what you wanted to hear. Funky bass tunes and rockout guitars with super catchy vocal melodies. Definitely keep an ear out for their next show.
