Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Weston-Super-Mare!

The venue would be nice if it wasn't for the rubble covered floor that blew up a dust cloud every time the wind blew! By the time we got home our hair, our clothes and everything we took with us was grey and crusty. Pretty grim really.
The music was akin to a mediocre karaoke night. Most of the bands were flat and out of tune. Don't get me wrong I'm no Simon Cowell or Adele - but please...these were not even close! They were fun to sing along with and yes we had a good time, but as for lookalikes...you cant just put on a black suit and tie and call yourself a Beatle!
The prices were very expensive. £11 for a burger? £6 for a can of Thatchers? £9 for a vodka and c**e? Nothing like cashing in on a captive market!
The amount of people that had left before the last band said it all really.
Nice day out catching up with mates. Would I go again NOPE!

Drinks. Very very over priced could do with a dj playing 80s music between acts and entertaining the crowds not much room to move around. would not go again

First time for me to attend, bands were mostly great, venue was ok but wish I’d taken a seat, price for the festival was fantastic but the prices for refreshments were ridiculously expensive…£6/£7 for a beer can/spirits and £3 for bottled water was extortionate, glad I took an empty bottle to fill up at the tap 👍🏻

Some bands were very out of Tune. Very Uneven floor and very Dusty. Got very Dirty just siting. Food prices and drink prices were very high. could not take food or drink in with you, not even water. Small bottle of water £3 Really. Could take in empty water bottle but why when no where to fill them up. A shame as could be a great venue for Weston if it was smartened up .

Had a great time at Western super mare festival .Would be good if next time they put toilets at both sides of the stage also surface was very rocky and uncomfortable to dance or sit on, apert from those two things it was great.

Ticket prices good, range of bands good although not top quality. Everything ran to time.
Bar prices extortionate and no bitter. Ran out of lager and cider within 3 hours. Took a while to restock.
Atmosphere good. Plenty of security and medical staff.

It was a very enjoyable and friendly event
Staff were helpful and friendly
My only bugbear is that toilets, especially for women, should not be some only for VIP
I understand the vip standing area in front of the stage, but the tiolets should not be classed only for VIP 😐
On saying that I will look out for futures events with Skiddle.. 👍

The venue was awful, ot everyone brought camping cahirs as the pre information was misleading and the floor was dusty stones.

My friends and I had dust all over my belongings and skin and hair it was vile.

They need to cover the floor with grass or boards, it was like sitting on a building site floor!

The music was ok, we didn't buy food or drinks, we left 5 hours before the end as we weren't enjoying it.

Facilities not great, as was allowed to take in an empty reusable drinks bottle, assumed there would be places to fill with water. Drink selection terrible, limited and pricey.

Brilliant advent
Me and my dad loved it.
Highly recommended.
Would of been 5* on the venue .
But jue to the ground being Veny unsafe and dusty this wasn't expectable, found it very unsafe, and people were coverd in dust and seen alot of people trip and not jue to alcohol.

Disappointed we were not allowed to see the programme before the event. We arrived at 12.30 and had to wait over 2 hours before the first act. The ground surface was appalling, just filthy aggregate. The sound system was totally out which made the acts sound awful, they did eventually fix that. Drink prices were extortionate, 3.00 for a small bottle of water. Security took forever to search bags and bodies, very poorly run festival.

I am wheelchair user and bought 2 tickets for my wifes birthday.
I purchased VIP tickets for an extra treat.

Very disappointed to experience that a VIP area is NOT accessible by wheelchait....

So, the birthday treat turned out to be a disappointment and I could have saved me the extra costs.

We stayed and watched the event from the dusty ground area.

Loved the day from start to finish. Entertainment was excellent and a really good. atmosphere
with very clean facilities. My only gripe would be the ground itself because it was very dusty and I've tained my white trainers as well as my bags. and my chair. If I hadn't of brought a camping chair, I don't know what I'd have done. Think festival goers should be warned of the ground quality beforehand as clothes/shoes etc. could be ruined so it should have been clearly stated that a chair is a MUST because sitting on that floor is extremely dusty, hard and full of stones. Would definitely recommend everything else as he event itself was very well organised

Two of the acts that were advertised did not play and no explanation was given.
Apart from food outlets, bars, and fair rides there was nothing else to engage with between acts such as festival traders etc.
From arriving, queueing and getting into the venue there was a long wait for the first act to start which bored us both.
The abba and beatles tributes were BAD, and brought down the atmosphere of the evening acts.

The venue was very unsafe under foot especially as older people there … filled in with hard core …. No specific route to food or drink or toilets and truthfully if stretcher needed there would of been a issue …. The food and drink was beyond a reasonable mark up for how scrappy the surroundings were …. £6 a can and £10 for a plain burger ….. Were forced off table to be moved for more guests so we were jammed like sardines ….. very disappointed and left a 6om

Poor standard of some, not all acts.
Trapped once in ,as unable to go out and return.
£6 can of booze.
Long and I mean LONG wait between bands
