Founded in 2011 by a group of young theatre-makers with a passion for live performance, The Wardrobe Theatre is now an established artist-led organisation and arts venue that has been providing Bristol with fantastic theatre, comedy and regular local nights for over 4 years and is regarded as one of the city’s most exciting and valued venues. The Wardrobe Theatre pulses with energy and invention and is the sort of space Bristol’s thriving theatre scene deserves.

Operating above The White Bear pub on St Michaels Hill between May 2011 and July 2015, The Wardrobe Theatre relocated to Old Market in December 2015 in a collaboration with The Old Market Assembly, creating a new, thriving and vital arts hub for the entire region.
