I thought the gig was a mess. The music was good. But basically the construction of the gig totally wrong. The Band were pretty dour. Which might be ok in a different time and place but not at 11pm on a Saturday night. Giles plays some decent tracks. But the gig itself was fragmented, lacking continuity. Just when people started dancing again after being depressed to within an inch of leaving, a deep dub DJ came on. Bringing everyone down. It then emptied out.
