Very good, food and drink was quite expensive but to be expected and not many non alcoholic choices. Excellent bands and venue. Shame about the rain but still excellent!

firstly the negatives! VIP!?! What VIP? A bar that had very little in the way of c**ktails yet they were advertised. Asked for them and told nope! Don't have any. Toilets were disgusting within 30 minutes. Obviously that's down to disgusting people that don't care about anyone else but themselves, expecting someone to flush and clean the toilets on their behalf. Absolutely disgusting. Couldn't even keep it all in the bowl and that's not urine!! But not to have a member of staff to keep on top on the cleanliness was extremely poor! Members of staff on their phones rather than attending to the paying customer. Security people asking everyone to move from the VIP area to keep the area clear when we paid to sit/stand in that area and we were all asked to go to the bin VIP area as we'd see more of the stage?!? Then allowing one of the acts to swear when there were children watching was disgraceful. It took about 20 minutes to get a message to the act to stop swearing!
Then before the last act was even ready to come on, the staff were taking down the VIP area and lighting around the edge, various fences etc and closing the bars. There was still an hour and a half left!!
This could be because the wind was picking up but this should have had preparation time spent on it and a back up plan implemented. The rain didn't help and many people were leaving yet those that stayed still wanted to be looked after with drinks and food. My party left before the last act because we were very cold. As we walked away, most of the food stalls were closing and the bars were almost empty.
Positives.
The acts were pretty good. ACDC were very uplifting. Amy winehouse was very disappointing. Too much talking to the crowd and missing lines in the songs.
What food was there was nice. The extremely limited drinks selection was ok and the venue was a lovely place to set up.
All in all, lots to learn from this as I believe it's the first one on the beach and I truly hope there will be more. Such a shame the rain stopped people from going. Very disheartening for the acts I expect to see so few people. It's not the weather that's the problem, it's the poor choice of clothing!
If another event is held, our party of 8 will return I'm sure.
It would've been so much better with sunshine!
With some solid improvements, this will be a definite "worth going!"

1st time of going to the event .
Well worth the money for the tickets but the food and drink.was expensive £ 22.00 for 2 pizza's £12.00 for 2 cans of cider.
Need to definitely get rid of the rule once you are in there you can't leave the event as people book to stay in hotels and can't check into hotels until 3.00pm
So have to take the bags with us that get searched so can't take a phone charger as that's classified as a sharp object .
Also opening time needs to be earlier so open the doors 11.30am and 1st act starts at 12.00pm so at least 1st act has some audience to sing to.
The bar needs to be cash or card not just cars payment because alot of people don't like paying by card
Perhaps as well as a wrist band do a stamp thing on the hand so that if people want to leave and come back they can
All the food stalls and drink stalls need to be card and cash .
Don't advertise cash and then people go to pay cash and they can't
